What data this site collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to have it removed.
Reading an article on this site does not require an account and does not create a profile. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share reader data with third parties.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address and the date you subscribed. That is the entire record.
Aggregate analytics. If analytics are enabled, we collect page-level, aggregated usage data with IP addresses truncated. We do not attempt to identify individual readers.
Why we collect it
To send the newsletter you asked for, and to understand which stories are read so we can commission more of them. Nothing else.
How long we keep it
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, at which point the record is deleted rather than flagged. Aggregate analytics are retained for fourteen months.
Cookies
The site sets one cookie, storing your light or dark theme preference. It contains no identifier and is not read by anyone but your own browser.
Your rights
You may request a copy of any data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to mkvdigitalsolutions@gmail.com and we will respond within thirty days.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be noted with a dated entry at the foot of this page.
